Stratana's RapidStrat program utilizes core ESM functionality to quickly and flexibly construct a powerful enterprise, business and/or I.T. strategy description for your organization. The program's outputs place an emphasis on external assessment, strategy formulation, and alignment, with each being used to communicate with others within the organization in an effort to begin immediate implementation - all online and in real-time.
In as little as two to three weeks, Stratana will work with your organization in utilizing key ESM modules to complete the RapidStrat Program. The Strategy Formulation suite will be used to produce external assessment and analysis outputs, and to build/revise your organization's strategy description. In addition, the Strategy Alignment suite will help construct an Alignment Framework that will assist your organization in ensuring that its strategies are aligned with the appropriate programs, initiatives, roles & responsibilities, and performance metrics.
Program Structure
Stratana's RapidStrat Program provides your organization with an opportunity to witness firsthand the power and utility of Stratana's patented ESM software. ESM is used by Stratana strategy consultants throughout the RapidStrat Program to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the typical strategy and alignment processes and is designed for management teams responsible for formulating and implementing corporate, business, operations, technology or functional strategies.
These are the typical steps for conducting a meaningful RapidStrat Program:
STEP 1 - RapidStrat Program Structuring & Scanning
- Signed services agreement between both parties
- Determine engagement agenda and timeline
- Identify participants and confirm availability
- Review and load current/existing strategy documentation and data into ESM
- Conduct an External Assessment
- Planning for Strategy Formulation and Alignment Session
- Conduct a one- to two-day onsite group work session to formulate the organization's strategy
- Determine and articulate strategic direction
- Session deliverables: External Scan/Assessment Report, Strategy Statement, and Strategy Road Map
- Conduct a one- to two-day onsite group work session to align essential elements of the organization's strategy
- Identify and plan select strategic initiatives and their underlying projects
- Specify roles and responsibilities around key strategic components
- Select and determine key performance metrics
- Align all elements of strategy and gain agreement on next steps around implementation and roles and responsibilities
